GHEE OR BUTTER ? WHICH IS BETTER

Ghee is the gift given to world by AYURVED. Since thousands of years India is using ghee for various purposes. Now a days cholesterol is big issue Most of people are avoiding ghee and using butter as substitute. But is it correct? Let's find out answer by ayurvedic point of view.

What is ghee
  • Ghee, otherwise known as clarified butter, is a healthy cooking oil due to its content of essential fatty acids which are an essential part of our diets. It is rich in easy-to-digest short chain fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E & K. It also contains 3% linoleic acid which has anti-oxidant properties.
  • Ghee has a high smoke point which makes it great for cooking. It also means that it does not produce damaging free radicals.
  • Ghee is suitable for people who are sensitive to lactose as the heating procedure used to clarify the butter removes the lactose content.
  • Use ghee as a delicious oil for cooking or stir into rice and vegetables for a nourishing flavoursome taste.
 Properties of ghee
Ghee is most notably said to stimulate the secretion of stomach acids to help with digestion, while other fats, such as butter and oils, slow down the digestive process and can sit heavy in the stomach.
It has been used in Indian medicinal practice to help with ulcers, constipation, and the promotion of healthy eyes and skin.
An Indian folk-remedy for thousands of years, ghee is also said to promote learning and increased memory retention.
It is used in Indian beauty creams to help soften skin, and as a topical for the treatment of burns and blisters.
In addition to ghee's nutritional value, it is rich with antioxidants and acts as an aid in the absorption of vitamins and minerals from other foods, feeding all layers of body tissue and serving to strengthen the immune system.
A high concentration of butyric acid, a fatty acid that contains anti-viral properties, is believed to inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors.

GHEE vs BUTTER
It is said that ghee is lower in fat than butter which means that it's a better choice for people who have problems with high cholesterol.

Easier to digest. Because there is less fat in ghee, it is easier for most people to digest than butter is.

Longer shelf life. Ghee can be stored for a long period of time, longer than butter can, and it doesn't need to be refrigerated when it is stored.
According to ayurved- SNEHOMAYAM HI PURUSHAM .
That means our body is made up of Sneha/ Fat. In fact it's true. All of our cells are lined by fatty cell membrane. Hence only Fat molecule has  capacity to penetrate each tissue in our body. Ayurved  is using lots of medicines containing ghee.
Take a note that Ghee here means clarified butter made from cow's milk. So choice is yours.

INFERTILITY

Nowadays Infertility is rising problem.Infertility primarily refers to the biological inability of a person to contribute to conception
Generally, worldwide it is estimated that one in seven couples have problems conceiving. There are so many factors causing Infertility. Genetic, General, Endocrinal and Environmental are the main causes of Infertility.
Age is the important issue.  As the age progresses the chances of Infertility are increased. So late age marriage is one important factor.
In India we had tradition of early age marriage in which this problem was seen very rarely. In India The consequences of infertility are manifold and can include societal repercussions and personal suffering. In many cultures, inability to conceive bears a stigma.
There may be  specific female causes, specific male causes or both.
AYURVED is key to this problem. AYURVED have specific branch treating this Infertility called as Vajikaran.
AYURVED offers oral and panchkarma treatment for this problem. Many of the causes can be treated with AYURVED.
Say we take an example of diet. We are eating seedless fruits, so the concept is the fruit which is incapable of reproduction can't boost our reproductive system. Hence eating such seedless fruits and grains or biotechnized  vegetables are causing Infertility.

BETTER TOMORROW FOR YOUR CHILD

Our child is the most beautiful thing in world. Everyone is working hard for the future of child. In today's era so many questions arise in our minds regarding the children. Health is wealth  is not just a proverb its true. Despite of all measures children are very susceptible to infections.
Due to modern lifestyle various infections, obesity, poor concentration etc are common problems in children. Specially in India we are nowadays adopting westernized lifestyle which is very harmful.
AYURVED is key to life. it's not just medical faculty but complete solution to our problems. Let's take example of junk food.
Lack of energy,Poor Concentration,Heart Diseases,Liver Failure,Diabetes are some of the side effects of junk food. So we must junk food. According to AYURVED child has low digestive power so diet must be light and healthy. AYURVED suggests that diet of child should contain milk, ghee,  and home made food. Quantity of diet should be less but you can give more frequently if he/she needs.
Seasonal regime is most important part of AYURVED, so whatever we give must be according to season. Say we celebrated diwali few days ago, all over India sweets are consumed in large amount. Reason is  from diwali usually winter season is starting in India. In cold situation our digestive power increases so we can digest sweets very easily.
This  is an example there are lots of things to say about, but on ocassion of tomorrow's CHILDREN'S DAY, I wish healthy life for all children in world.

SHREE DHANVANTARAYE NAMAH.
